It is important to remember this because it was devastating and many life's were lost. Children should know about the events that took place on September 11, 2001. They should know about the conflict between America and Iraq. Also about who was the mastermind behind all the violence that took place. It's important for us to remember the terrorist attacks because since then, citizens of America have been concerned of their safety and care. Since people are even worried that this will happen again, the goverment has and is still trying to keep the citizens of America safe. At least 200 people jumped or fell to their deaths. 2 beautiful buildings were destroyed. 246 people left on an airplane and never got to see home ever again. 2,997 innocent people left their homes one day and never got to see their families again. When this happened three planes hit the Twin Towers in New York, the Pentagon outside of Washington,DC, and the final one flew into a field in Pennsylvania. It is important to remember what happened on September 11, 2001. On that memorable Tuesday the United Sates changed. Four planes were hijacked and 2 of them went in to the Twin Towers, a third one crashed in to the pentagon. The fourth plane, although, did not crash into any national monuments because the people on the planes had heard about the other plane crashes and took over the plane long enough to crash it into a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. The fourth plane was supposed to crash into the white house but becuase of the brave passengers, it never made it. It about killed me when I heard about 9-11. It is important to know about 9-11 because so many innocent people died for the wrong reason. It is important to remember 9/11 because it is the day that Afghanistanterrorist attacked the United States. On September 11, 2001, 19 al-Qaeda terrorists hijacked four airplanes. The hijackers crashed two of the airliners into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, everyone on board was killed and many others working in the buildings were also killed. Both buildings collapsed, destroying at least two nearby buildings and damaging others. The hijackers crashed a third airliner into the Pentagon and a fourth plane crashed into a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania after the passengers and flight crew fought back. It is important for us to remember 9/11 because it was a day where over 3000 innocent civilians died, due to the terrorist attacks on the Pentagon, North tower, and South tower, other wise known as the twin towers. They hijacked 4 planes 2 of them were American Airlines flights 77 and 11, the other 2 were United Airlines flights 175 and 93. It is important to remember the terrorist attacks on 9.11 because it taught many great lessons. After 9.11 every airport security system was given a complete overhaul which has probably saved many more lives. It taught us to be cautious of terrorist forces. I think it is important for our country to remember the events on 9/11. This tragedy has taught the US to come close together and support each other during times of great sadness. I think it is important to remember the terrorist attacks of 9/11 because of all the people who lost their lives that day. Not only the people in the twin towers, but also the people on the hijacked planes and those in the pentagon. Hundreds of people died, and hundreds of children where left orphaned. It is important to remember those who died, and the pain experienced by their family members and loved ones. It is also important to remember the people on the fourth plane, whose bravery in storming the cockpit and crashing it into an empty field saved many lives, although they died. The first responders are also very important. Those firefighters, policemen, and medical workers risked their own lives to save others. Many of them also died that day. I think that 9/11 greatly impacted our country. It brought our country together in a way only threats to national security can. People also developed feelings of hatred and anger towards people from the middle east. This further strained relationships between those countries (especially Afghanistan) and the U.S. These feelings lasted for many years and some people still have them, but now most people see that only the Al-Qaeda are to blame for the attacks, not all people from the region. It is important to remember what happened on September 11, 2001. On that memorable Tuesday the United Sates changed. Four planes were hijacked and 2 of them went in to the Twin Towers, a third one crashed in to the pentagon. The fourth plane, although, did not crash into any national monuments because the people on the planes had heard about the other plane crashes and took over the plane long enough to crash it into a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. The fourth plane was supposed to crash into the white house but becuase of the brave passengers, it never made it. It is also important to remember the people on the fourth plane, whose bravery in storming the cockpit and crashing it into an empty field saved many lives, although they died. People also developed feelings of hatred and anger towards people from the middle east. It has hurt our economy and many of our soldiers have died trying to find Osama Bin Laden and other terrorists. People are scared that there will be other attacks, so everyone is searched or go through scanners when they go to public places like the airport and sporting events.

i think we should remember the 9/11 attack because so many people died. It would be sad to forget all the family and
friends that died that day. We also should remember the the twin towers that stood tall and proud waving in the wind.
Everyone needs to be respectful on that day . America is very strong and that we will never be defeated because we
got right back up from the attack and fixed it all up.
